Unlock Boss Rush Mode:

to the stage select room and opt to try Boss Rush Mode, that is a time attack mode against all
the bosses in the game in the order they appear in the Encyclopedia.
 

Unlock Crazy Mode:
Clear the game with Leon once and save that game. Start a new game on another slot and
enter the name @CRAZY.
Crazy mode is much harder than the normal game.
 

Unlock Jade Mask Item:
Clearing the game will unlock the Jade Mask for sale at the shop.
 

Unlock Joachim's Game:
Clear the game with Leon once and save that game. Start a new game on another slot and
enter the name @JOACHIM.
Joachim's game is played differently, and the character has no access to any weapons,
armour, or health restoration items.
 

Unlock Mobius Brooch Item:
Clearing the game on Crazy Mode will unlock the Mobius Brooch in the shop.
 

Unlock Pumpkin Game:
Clear the game with Joachim once and save that game. Start a new game on another slot and
enter the name @PUMPKIN.
The Pumpkin game starts the character off with all skills and the Vampire Killer, as well as
increased stats. However, there are no subweapons available other than the initial
subweapon.
 

Unlock Sound Test:
Clear the game once with any character and save that game. The Music Box will be available
for purchase in Rinaldo's shop for all future games (you only need to buy it once and save the
purchase to that game).

Magician mode:
Enter FIREBALL as a name and start a new game. The word "Magician" will appear on the
option screen to confirm correct code entry. All trading cards will be available under the DSS
option.
 

Shooter mode:
Enter CROSSBOW as a name and start a new game. The word "Shooter" will appear on the
option screen to confirm correct code entry. Nathan will have a substantial number of hearts,
extra sub-weapon damage, and can use the Homing Dagger sub-weapon in this mode.
Fighter mode:
Enter GRADIUS as a name and start a new game. The word "Fighter" will appear on the option
screen to confirm correct code entry. Nathan will be stronger and able to sustain more
damage. There are no trading cards in this mode.
 

Thief mode:
Enter DAGGER as a name to get your character thief stats.
 

Spinning attack:
When using the whip, hold down Attack to make it spin around in a circle. It will act like a
shield, so you cannot get hit by small enemies around you. Note: You cannot move while
doing this attack.
 

Defeating Dragon Zombies (Twin Dragons):
To defeat the Dragon Zombies easily, whenever you get hurt, jump up to the platform by the
door where you entered the room and activate the Jupiter + Mandragora DSS combo to heal
yourself. A fireball may hit you every once in a while, but it is very rare.
 

Defeating Death:
To defeat Death very easily, just activate the Jupiter + Manticore DSS combo. His sickles
cannot hit you, and by this point in the game you will probably never run out of MP because
this combo will use it slower than you restore it.

Hidden Bosses:
You can play as hidden bosses once they have been beaten. The conditions of the Bosses to
appear are to meet two out of the following three conditions. If you play with a Capcom
character you will get God Rugal, and if you play with a SNK character you will get Shin Gouki.
Get over 1500 GPS by the end of the game.
Beat the Middle Boss (Geese or Bison/Vega).
Achieve at least one Finest KO.
Custom Grooves:
The Custom Groove option appears once a normal Boss has been beaten. Normal Bosses
appear by meeting two of the four following conditions.
Get over 1000 GPS by the end of the game.
Achieve four or more special KOs.
Middle Boss has appeared.
Achieve two or more LV3 super combo KOs.
Random Groove:
Press Start at the Groove select screen.
Boss challenge mode:
Boss challenge mode becomes available under these two conditions. Both hidden Bosses (God
Rugal, Shin Gouki) must already be beaten and unlocked. Hold Triangle + Square when
choosing arcade mode.
 

One on three tag team mode:
Highlighter any fighter at the character select screen and press a button. Allow time to run out
and the game will start in one on three tag team mode. Do not choose one on one battle
mode.
 

Extra options:
Finish Boss challenge mode with no continues. The "Extra Option" becomes available in the
game.
 

Extra color edit mode options:
Press Start when editing the colors for your character to display more options.
 

Infinite custom groove:
Beat all characters straight in survival mode. The custom groove option settings will become
infinite.
 

Middle Boss conditions:
The middle Boss appears when these conditions are all met:

No time over has occurred
The CPU has not made over six "first attacks".
The CPU has not made three or more Special KOs.
 

Victory quotes:
Hold Start + FP after winning a stage to make your character say a specific quote. Hold Start
+ FK to make the character talk with a team member.

Cannon Fodder

Try this : On the map, type [Ctrl]+FODDER,
then [Enter] to get to the next level.
Use the same techniques as used in the Cannon Fodder 1, as this game
is basically the same but with a variety of scenery.
Watch out for the flying debris that the buildings release when
you grenade them.
 

Booby Traps:
Watch out for piles of rocks or ruffles of grass, as these often
conceal mines. Shoot them and you'll be safe to pass.
Trip wires are also dotted about some levels, these are also easy
to see. They look like a silver or black line stretch across a
walkway. To disarm them, simply fire at the area around them.
 

Mission 2 Phase 1:
Head to the top right and collect the grenades, then down the right
hand side for more, before you kill all the men.
 

Mission 2 Phase 2:
Conquer this phase in an anti-clockwise direction, but do it slowly
as you will encounter a very large amount of enemy soldiers. There
is a building at the top of the right hand side but don't blow it up
until you have collected the grenades.
 

Mission 3 Phase 2:
Look out for the rockets, to avoid simply stop and when a rocket has
been launched at you make a moving attack. Some grenades can be
found at the left hand side of the tent, up the top if the level.
To save on men blow it up, unless you are short on grenades, then
you'll have to collect it.

the game with ease, please write Cheat Sheets some hints on how you
did it.....

Finish all the Crash Mode with Gold Medals to unlock the Runaway Option in the Cheat Menu.
This option is like Crash mode with no brakes or goals. R1 will give you a boost if pressed at
the start
 

Face off mode:
Finish all races in championship mode with gold medals
 

hints for offensive driving 101:
In the test in Offensive Driving 101 where you must get air over jumps, At the beginning of
the level, turn around until you hit the red barrier, then go the right direction and get as much
speed as you can over them.
 

Speed boost at start:
At the start of the race just after it shows 3-2-1. on the 1 do the tyre burn (press square then
x)and you will get a huge speed boost at the start of the race.

Alternate costumes:
Hold L1, L2, or R2 and select a person at the character select screen. This has no effect in
story mode.
 

Hidden FMV sequence:
Complete the game as Sion.
 

Bonus characters:
Complete the game to unlock more characters each time that it is finished.
 

Increased character rank:
Every time the game is completed in story mode, the rank of the extra characters in versus
and survival modes will increase. This does not include Volt, Sion, and Kou.
 

Leann Caldwell:
Play the entire game, only using Lou. Once you beat Duragon for the last time you will view a
FMV sequence where you have to fight Leann. Beat her to unlock her in versus mode.
 

Topless Duragon:
Beat the game for a third time using any character. After beating Duragon for the second
time, he will get up again and fight topless. Beat him to unlock him in versus mode.
 

Unlock Wong:
Use only Volt or Kou through the entire game. However, when you are going to fight Threw for
the last time, choose Sion. When you finish the game, Sion will have a flashback. Beat Wong

Defeat Sarafan easily:
To defeat the Sarafan Lord easily, in chapter 11, do the following:
Like all bosses, he has 3 battle tactics. In the first, You must dodge his 3 energy blasts from
the Soul Reaver. As he is charging for his second onslaught, you must quickly hit him with
Telekensis. He is then stunned, you use the jump ability to attack him. This will instantly
cause a cut scene and you will be thrown into his second tactic.
His second form is fairly easy. You simply block all his attacks, other than his fury hit (just
jump out of the way from the fury hit), continue to block until Rage bar is filled enough to use
Immolate. Repeat this process about 4 times, this will cause another cut scene and throw you
into the 3rd, and final tactic. (you now have the soul reaver!=))
The 3rd tactic is fairly difficult. As he blocks 90% of your swings, and all Rage attacks are
futile. You do not have many options open. You must swing 3 times at him, he will block all 3.
You then jump away backwards instantly after the 3rd swing, he will then attempt to hit you
immediately after your 3rd swing. After he starts to pull his hand back from the attack, you
slash at him with the Soul Reaver. You should hit him at least once during this proces. I'm
sorry if it sounds confusing, but this tactic does effectily.
 

Easier way to defeat Sarafan Lord:
Ok the cheat that tells you to do all of that confusing tactics on the 3rd time you fight the
Sarafan Lord theres an easier way hes right about the first two but on the 3rd heres what you
do.You can use one rage technique its the first one you have in the game "Rage" okay block
all his attacks until the last attack where he puts his hand anove his head about to smash you
quickly slide to the side with your rage bar full and use it right after he swings at where you
were standing this strategy worked great for me the first time I fought him good luck!

Get Uranus:
Beat the game on arcade mode w/o continuing. After beating Xion, there will be a "special
stage" where you will fight uranus. Beat her, and she's yours.
 

Sudden Death Survival:
Reach level 10 in survival mode.
 

Getting to Kohryu:
To get to Kohryu in stage, you must first get to stage five in arcade mode without losing a
single round. It can be set on any difficulty level.

Successfully complete the game on the easy or normal difficulty settings with any ranking to
enable an option to play battle mode in first person view.
 

Play as Steve Burnside in battle mode:
Get the Gold Lugers from the basement office in Disc 2. The correct combination is red, green,
blue, and brown. You can also unlock Steve Burnside by performing well with the original
Chris in battle mode.
 

Play as Albert Wesker in battle mode:
Perform well with Chris in battle mode.
 

Play as alternate Claire in battle mode:
Perform well with the original Claire in battle mode.
 

Linear launcher in battle mode:
Get an "A" ranking with Chris, Steve Burnside, Albert Wesker and both versions of Claire in
battle mode to unlock the linear launcher. It will appear in your inventory during the next
battle mode game.
 

Rocket launcher:
Get an "A" ranking in the normal game by completing it without saving, no first aid sprays,
and no retries. Additionally, save Steve from the Luger quickly, give the Medicine to Rodrigo,
and complete the game with a time less than 4:30. The rocket launcher will appear in the first
item box in the next new game.

Unlock Extreme Mode:
To unlock Extreme Mode, simply beat Gauntlet Mode.
 

Unlock Gauntlet Mode:
To unlock Gauntlet mode, complete the game once on any difficulty.
 

Quick Level Up:
At the beginning of the game press down and hold R2 L1 Left d-pad triangle and Start to
access the cheat menu. Then turn Invincibility on and use Level Warp to transport yourself to
"the gauntlet" level. Advance as much as you possibly can without running out of time. This
level has pretty good monsters to hack and slash and gain lots of experience and gold. But
remember, before you run out of time Level Warp yourself again into the Tavern. Keep
transporting between the Tavern and the gauntlet until you reach whatever level you want.
Once you gain enough levels you could probably make it all the way to the end where an Iron
Golem is waiting for you. If you kill it not only you receive tons of exp's but also you can pick

1- Finish the game.

4- Beat the game again in "extreme" difficulty.
5- Import Drizzt into a new game.

Infinite Tricks:
Go to Fort Roberts and find the G.I. training ground. When you get there find the three stair
like bars in front of the X looking things. Get right in front of the small one and back up. Do a
wheelie onto the small one. If you do it right your ATV will get caught on the middle log and
and you can do as many tricks as you want, but be sure to keep your balance.
 

FLY Around Fort Roberts:
Alright you must first find the airport look for the Helicopter (it will land in some rundown
buildings around the airport) but when it gets close to the ground pop a wheelie and hit the
helicopter with your front tires if you do it right the helicopter will pick you up and you will fly
around with it until you hit reverse
 

Quick Reset:
If you wreck or go off the track, simply press L1 and R1 at the same time and you will reset
very quickly. This is very useful if you are new to this game.

Staying alive:
Never stay still, even if you are trying to shoot someone or something. If you move around, it
will be harder for the Tan army to hit you; same with the Bosses. If you miss an enemy, turn
around and come back for another pass, but do not stay still. For heavy populated areas, go
forward but weave left and right as you do so. This will help keep you alive until the next
health bag.
 

Weapons:
Try to get the Bazooka and the Flamethrower's power to maximum. Use the Bazooka as your
main weapon. It can blow up obstacles as well as cause heavy damage. If you find yourself
unable to kill an enemy near you, you can quickly change to the Flamethrower and melt them,
then change back to the Bazooka.

 

Sink the Shark Submarine:

You must sink the Shark Submarine at the end of level 2. First, kill all the tan soldiers that
appear. Hold L1 and press the Right Analog-stick to aim for the gun turrets on top of the

someone you have defeated and then press START + SELECT and you should hear a sound.
Press the two buttons again and again until you hear the sound. Once you hear the sound go
to the Edit Emblem screen and the emblem selected will be the one you just took from your
opponent. You can then edit it or just wear it as your own.
 

Use overweight AC Units:
Once you finish the entire game the first time and you see the credits, the next time you start
a game using the final save (the one you make after the credits) you can buy equipment and
parts that would normally make your mech overweight. You will then be able to use your
overweight mech the next time you play.
 

Debt of 50000:
You have to go in debt of 50000 six times to unlock these cheats:

Easy way to win in arena:
If you are having a lot of difficulty in the arena, there is an easy way to beat just about
anybody. It helped me get all the way to rank 9. There is a level you can choose in which you
start off on top of a tall building, if you just sit there, then the enemy usually flies out of the
ring.
 

Secret Weapon:
The weapon is hidden in the mission against Emeraude to destroy the surface weapons. Right
when the mission starts, fly over the surface weapons and look over to the rocks where there
is a small hill. Somewhere around there lying down is the karasawa mk-II(the weapon one the
AC has on the cover). Press circle to pick it up. This is a laser weapon that is extremely
powerful with 50 ammo. I think it is one of the best weapons in the game.
 

Another way to win arena:
The way to do it is to buy the back part that shoots 2 multiple warhead missiles its expensive
but you'll make it. Then go to the Etal Base and from the beginning fly to the platform all the
way in the air and then there is a pole in the middle. Fly on top of that. That's all use the
multiple warhead missile and no matter where he is they can track ure enemy.

Load Info From Original AC2:
Load your saved game from the orginal Armored Core 2 game into the One Player Scenario to
start where you left off before the expansion. This, of course, hinges on the fact that you
played and saved a file from the original.

Hint: Defeating the Boss on level 3:
There is a way to defeat the Boss on the level 3 (with all the bombers) without getting hurt. If
possible, clear out some of the numerous bombers. Get to the highest elevation possible.
When your fighter is above the Boss on your radar, dive down and fire missiles and the gun.
Done correctly, the Boss will not shoot back until your fighter gets too close. Repeat this
procedure until he is defeated.
Alternatively, after clearing out some of the numerous bombers climb t to the highest
elevation possible. When you fighter is above the Boss on your radar, dive down and wait until
your fighter is locked on the Boss. Fire the missiles and go through the Boss. Your fighter
should explode. When the game restarts the Boss will still have the damage inflicted by your
attack. Repeat the steps until the Boss is defeated.
 

Easy multi-player kills:
Select the F-15 (if available) in multi-player mode. Use the special weapon as soon as the
dogfight begins. This should completely destroy your opponents in one shot. For a better
chance, place enable infinite specials in the settings.
 

Ice Cave shortcut:
Fly down the cave until it widens. Then turn around and fly back. Pass through the gray bars
and continue until the Boss appears.
